El arte de vivir

I am Valentina, a visual artist and art therapist from Venezuela, a creative soul exploring the relationship between life, art, and presence.
From a young age, traveling through different landscapes and connecting with diverse cultures awakened in me a deep curiosity for human stories, creativity, and the ways we express ourselves through images, spaces, and experiences.
My work explores the symbolic language of the body, emotions, and environments, revealing the connections between ancestral echoes, contemporary rhythms, and the landscapes that inspire us. Each project I create emerges from a desire to capture feelings, stories, and human connections, transforming invisible experiences into visual and sensory forms.
Migration, resilience, and the search for identity have deeply shaped my journey, teaching me to transform uncertainty into creativity and new ways of seeing. My practice is a reflection of this path: an invitation to feel, explore, and reconnect with the essence of who we are.
My creative practice moves between visual arts, art direction, set design, branding, and storytelling. Through color, texture, form, and atmosphere, I create visual worlds that invite connection, emotion, and imagination.
Over time, my exploration expanded from creating images and spaces into exploring the body as another form of expression. Through expressive arts, somatic movement, and art therapy, I developed Alma en Movimiento — a practice where movement becomes a language and the body becomes a compass for creativity, awareness, and connection.
I also founded Soul Coliving , a home for travelers, artists, and adventurous souls. A space born from my own journey, where people are invited to slow down, reconnect, create, collaborate, and experience life as a shared and conscious creative process.
Across my work, I continue exploring the same question: how can we create spaces — physical, visual, and embodied — where people feel more connected to themselves and to each other?
